Why Incubation Matters

For early-stage startups, the journey from idea to market-ready product is fraught with challenges. Founders often struggle with product-market fit, fundraising, team building, and go-to-market strategy. NHL Ventures' incubation program is designed to address these challenges head-on, providing a structured environment for growth and learning.

Applications open quarterly, and the program runs for six intensive months. We accept 10-15 startups per cohort, ensuring personalized attention and meaningful peer-to-peer learning.

Next cohort begins: September 2026

Applications close 60 days before each cohort start date.

The Incubation Journey

1

Application & Selection

Founders submit their pitch deck and application. Our investment committee reviews each application, looking for strong teams, market opportunity, and product potential. Selected startups join the cohort.

2

Onboarding & Assessment

Startups undergo a comprehensive assessment to identify strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities. We help founders define clear milestones for the program.

3

Intensive Mentorship

Weekly 1-on-1 sessions with industry experts, successful founders, and NHL's executive team. Areas of focus include product-market fit, fundraising, team building, and go-to-market strategy.

4

Seed Capital Injection

Up to $100,000 in seed funding for program participants, with clear milestones and deliverables. We also connect founders to our network of angel investors and institutional VC partners.

5

Demo Day & Follow-on

The program culminates in a Demo Day where founders pitch to a room of investors, partners, and ecosystem players. Successful graduates often secure follow-on funding and continue to receive ongoing support from NHL Ventures.
